I would recommend that you get hold of some sand. If you cannot get it right now wait until after the Hurricane has passed. You can use sand to filter fresh water even if it is very dirty. Put sand into a bucket or container with a hole at the bottom that allows water to flow out and put the water in the top. You will only need to do this if there is no water look up some Youtube videos. I have a bad feeling that this Hurricane is being overhyped by the media that want to sell the public global warming. Florida has been hit by them before. In the 1960s there was Hurricane Betsy which I feel was far bigger. Your father has more than likely seen these before when you are his age you probably will feel the same way he does. You are probably panicking because the media has you in this state. What you want to do is get warm clothing stashed in an area you can get to with the food in a bag just incase you have to move at some point. You can also cook microwave food in a fire as well with water. You could mix the food in water to make a soup even with microwave food. Just to let you know today's buildings are to a far higher standard than they were in the 1960s when it was a far worse Hurricane.

How do you expect a whole state with a population to get out there in a week. Some of you people are living in a fantasy. Most people are moving in land to try and avoid the worst of it but they could just end up in the middle of it anyway.

Hurricanes have always hit Florida. Some of you are acting as if this is new and I suppose you think it is new because that is what they say in the media. Look Hurricane Betsy in 1965. Are you all going to claim that was global warming as well. I do not believe in global warming I only believe in global cooling.
