Customers that play with in the rules are now going to be affected by this type of behavior.

You are talking crap at best.

What about the customers that play within the rules. It would be a slight to them if people start using the argument that banks steal money.

The moment she enacted a process of transfer to another account is the moment she participated. What she should be doing is setting up a plea bargain at this stage even if she has most of the money spent. You may think there is no wrong in what she has done but it could have an impact on other customers who are law abiding.

She did not just enact a process of funds transfer she also has spent the money according to the report. She could still plea bargain this case and work out a deal for herself.

SO you expect the other customers to pay for her?

The defence in this case is unlikely to work.

It is not funny money to those that use the bank services fairly and play within the rules.

You are personally liable for taxes on income. So how does that go for you?

That defence does not fly. She knew that the money did no belong to her.

No amount of lawyering is going to get the rout of this. It is a case that will have lots of evidence. Best thing to do is plea bargain and hope for the best. If they do not clamp down in this case then every customer is going to be affected in the long term.

She will not get to keep the money and she could do 20 years in jail. So no it is not a little time. Medium income in the US is $60,000 so that for 20 years is $1,200,000 and with inflation it is about $2,000,000 so the $1.2 million is not worth it.
