  4. While it is true that many of our generation are cowards there are still a large number of people that will fight. I think the US can still get a similar number of troops together that existed in WW2 only with todays weapon systems. The US had 16 million men serve in WW2 and they could do that again.

  13. I do not think that is the case. Such a satellite would require massive amounts of energy and then how would you identify the target on the ground. And then what would the purpose be as the US could crush both China and Russia in an open war.

  14. The US could crush both China and Russia in open warfare. Whoever is behind this probably wants Russia and China to be blamed so that the US could crush them. I am not sure if any of those two countries are stupid enough to be doing this.

  17.  @Veritas-invenitur  Russia only has the ability to carry this out and my question then is would they be stupid enough to carry out such an open attack since they have not done so in the past. Carrying this attack out if it is real is very complicated to achieve. It requires a network of active personnel on the ground, technology and then the experience to be able to complete the task. And to be able to do all of this without being detected requires high level abilities and only Russia has that. China are amateurs compared to Russia when it comes to espionage. This is not in Russia MO to carryout open attacks. Who ever is responsible for this will pay a price at some point if it is a real event.
