  2. Most of those homeless veterans have mental health issues as do the vast majority of homeless people. Even when there are free beds they will not use them.

  4. You can find good people coming from bad colleges. What a student studies and how relevant it is to the real world is more important. And how hard a worker a student is which can be gleaned from their grades and topic choices. An A in cultural dance studies means nothing whereas an A in accounting/finance would be of more value.
