  4.  @peterhammer6915  Sports cars are lightweight and smaller than a GT car. They tend to be more race orientated than a GT car is. There are plenty of GT cars that can keep up and even beat a sports car in a race but that is not the measure of a GT car being a sports car. Now modern Porsche cars are pushing more towards a GT experience which is not about their actual speed of performance. The M4 and 911 are both sports cars of sorts but sit on different ends of the spectrum. A M2 is lighter and more compact than an M4 which is why I would say it is leaning more towards being a sports car. Calling a car a GT or a sports car is not intended to mean one is better than the other but is intend to describe the cars characteristics.

  6.  @peterhammer6915  I have driven M2 and M4 cars but not the G80. M4 cars are not pure sports cars and are a GT coupe.
