  7. That is the power of US industry. In WW2 the US was able to send over 100,000 aircraft into the pacific. In todays world the US will send in about 500,000 aircraft into a war zone in WW3. If such a major war the price of those drones will come down under $1000. It is the reason why an apple 1 phone that cost $500 would be a $50 phone today.

  15. A couple of mines have already opened and several more are on the way. Once the colombian coal has been used up in the US system it means US coal will then be used. It is a slow start that will keep growing and growing. The US has about 1400 coal plants that needs US coal.

  16.  @buckstan  Ireland has a terrible healthcare system and spends the most amount of money in the EU on healthcare and it is one of the most centralized healthcare systems barring the NHS. Sweden is a public insurance model and not a social healthcare program that is decentralized. People have all these ideas in their heads that are not even close to being true.

  30. Those drones have already been used in Afghanistan for the last decade. They have a solid history and deployment by USMC and special operations. So far it has not been a standard issue for infantry but that is about to change.

The Switchblade 300 most certainly has enough kinetic force to take out a barrel of a main gun on a tank or the tracks. And when there are several of them come down in a particular area at a battle tank it will get hammered. An anti tank RPG can most certain disable a tanks capabilities making it useless.

  33.  @Mygg_Jeager  It is cheap because economies of scale and efficiencies have been derived that allow great output. The resources to output an Iphone in 2006 were far greater than they are today. The processes of engineering flash have improved as have RAM production. There has been a several fold increase in microscale circuit manufacturing. That means the dollar cost of such production is lower today. The reason it appears outdated is because the performance of manufacturing has increased.

  38.  @dancalvano8702  The isis fighter died from injuries of battle. The SEAL's were trying to keep him alive hence the reason why Gallagher and colleagues managed to get the injured fighter stable. It was war.

  48.  @heyya7464  You have no way of knowing how they will react. The virus at this point looks like it causes in about 20% of patients (we will need to wait and see what happens). It growth rate is incredible at 2.6 so that means each person with the infection gives it to 2.6 people. The doubling period is now see to be at about 7 days. No western government actually knows how to deal with this. Are they willing to shut their economies down over this?
