You have no idea the volume that the vice president and president have to deal with in terms of document. They probably have so many of them 365 days of the year that it may end up becoming irrelevant to them at some point. They are under so much intense media pressure that their attention is probably only focused on the media. And that goes for pretty much every single presidential administration for the last 80 years. Biden and Pence have probably not had any opportunity to even sit down and think any of this through. This is probably the first time they are aware that such documents were there.
