  1. As it plays out Turkey is not going to block Sweden. If Turkey was to try and block them they will find that they will be isolated. Turkey is not there in terms of being an independent region as of yet and needs help getting their and time.

  2. The problem with most of this is that everything is still theoretical. Russia has not get pushed it self to all out war culture. Russia may collapse before it gets to that point of being able to get to total war.

  3.  @VilkatisJanis  The US is not a threat to anybody. The only time the US becomes a threat is when a country or culture starts attacking its interests. And with the US there tends to be a period of escalation before it gets to the hot stuff.

  4.  @mcinnisj100  Those countries can choose to be poverty stricken if they want to by playing with their own currencies. OPEC countries have been claiming that they would have their own currency from the foundations of the group. For all that money that they earned from Oil they have not built one value added economy. Every production centre within the OPEC economic space has been built by the western US dollar economy.

  6.  @juniorjames7076  What cracks me up is that people did not see any of this coming. Russia has not exactly been a liberal democracy. Since the foundation of the Russian federation it has always been a political system of violence and force. The first set of elections almost caused a civil war.

  7. So how did the US push Russia to invade Ukraine and Georgia. Russia has always stated that the Eastern bloc is there domain. Nothing to do with America or Europe. Russia effectively in its modern history has invaded every eastern European country in the last 80 years.

  8. Heating is not the issue in Europe. It is the energy for industrial manufacturing that is the issue. Cost has already at a base level increased 10 fold. German industry probably has an overall value coverage of about 20 times production but that is going to come under real strain over the next 2 to 5 years and god knows what sort of crisis could be piled on top of that.

  9. South America was flooded by USSR sponsored programs back in the cold war. Every cold war era civil war in south America was sponsored by the USSR and it programs and then when locals started to rise and push them out the commie agents started crying about how they were right wing and all that sort of good propaganda stuff.

  10. Turkey can play the system but there are limits to how far it can play that game. Turkey can stall some deals but not actually stop them or significantly hold them up.

  14. Even if Russia was to win there is still a real danger of their being a civil war there. There was almost a civil war in Russia when the first set of elections were being played out to form the Russian federation.
