@raysambath5505 ICBMS only go at those speeds when they are in a large arc decent they do not perform that at level flight. But it is a myth that they cannot stop fast moving targets because that speed limited of Patriots are in accent and it is possible to know what their speeds are for decent as it is classified. The defence missiles abilities are really defined by targeting, tracking and computation.

The US uses most of its old gear for training and test firing just to keep the skills up. That is something that most countries do not do as it is very expensive to do that.

Flak systems would be better for dealing with drones even if they are human operated. A group of men with shotguns could take down a group of low flying drones as well but that would be a last chance saloon approach.

@Slutuppnu The problem with prosecuting or putting the idea of war crimes above russian heads is that they may then mentally move over to all or nothing as in their mind they would be as good as dead if the war ended.

The older ones have new targeting systems and new radar systems that can make them cutting edge. It is like having a 1960s car with all the technology of today but still looking like it is from the 1960s until you realize it is cutting edge.
