  8. PZ does not predict exact micro problems. He has always stated that it is unknown exactly how the Russian military would perform. Most experts expected Ukraine to fold militarily and for Russia to then be bog down in an occupation war. Russia still has not declared war on Ukraine so we will need to wait and see.

  18. Russia is most certain a collection of cultures held together by force and 20% of Russia is not ethnically Russian and is made up of a series of cultures. Russia most certainly is the very definition of an actual empire.

  26. China does not have the ability to project power that far. The local players will have far more say in that. Russia may not collapse everywhere and still may have resources to target certain individual regions for the foreseeable future.
