  1. The difference in that period was that Germany was rising and coming to a position of aggression. Russian in this instance is rising to war but on the back of legacy and when they use all of that it could be massive decline on the other side.

  3. German industry is massive and its potential outputs in war would just be enormous. The other side of that is that Russia has nuclear weapons.

  4. Russia is going to fail as a culture and as a state which could mean that they throw everything on the table. You are trying to view this rationally when these sorts of things are never rational. We do not know how weak the Russian military is because they have only sent an expeditionary force to Ukraine. Russia has been doing this for the last 30 years but no body has been paying attention until now.

  6. I am afraid it is not over for America and they know that as well. America does not have an empire it has used its wealthy, trade and markets to try and buy stability that is not an actual empire.

  7. Russia not a rational thinker and is not thinking about markets. Clearly they are going into Ukraine and further because they want to shield them self. The problem they have in doing that is they have freaked out the whole of Europe but who knows how far Russia will go.
