  2. The project would cost a lot more than 35 billion. They just pulled that figure out of thin air. The real cost would be near to a trillion when all of the infrastructure and networks are put in place. And the project would only really benefit China and not the US and Canada. It is not going to happen.

  3. Technology some day such as Nanotechnology and robotics will make the project realistic but we are probably about 20 years of that.
