  8.  @BigToeMan2  UK police officers are unable to stop people who go on the rampage with knives. There have even been cases of UK police having to run away from armed suspects because they have no means of engagement or protection.

  9.  @ajaypalsidhu3029  Derrick Bird went on a mass shooting rampage in Cumbria in 2010. When police officers responded they had to run away from him because he was opening fire. Witnesses seen large numbers of officers running away. He was on the rampage for several hours because the police could not engage with him because they had no means to do so. The only officers in the UK who can respond are special firearms teams and there are very few of them and they work well in the big cities but not in rural or spread out areas. The UK has the strictest gun laws in the world yet it still has shootings. There is about 130,000 knife crimes a year in the UK with the police recording about 30,000 direct incidences a year.
