@MrMooMoo89 Keep in mind immigration numbers are what they are for a reason. And that reason is the 300,000+ people who retire every year. Who will replace them?

Sure, now explain how much more the project will cost. And who pays? Maybe make it a toll, if you want to get to work faster.

Everyone on a construction site is doing something. Just because you drive by, and someone appears to be standing around does not mean anything.

@SAT1337 Where did you get that idea? Do you have a source that shows how slow it is? Or is this your feelings? And what kind of construction are you talking about? There are many areas. Once you have that info, compare building standards, or building codes. The US has bridges collapsing. There are no shortage of examples of buildings collapsing around the world. Some restaurant/nightclub just yesterday. Canada has some of the best building codes in the world. We have a National Building Code, but it can be different in certain areas, like Vancouver or Ontario, etc. Otherwise, if you think you can improve what we do, you should just show us. Anyone who knows where to look would see the giant opportunity in the construction industry in Canada. The biggest obstacle in my experience is the lack of skilled trades. It's been this way for decades. The average tradesmen is now 57 yrs old. We don't have the population other countries have. We have 300,000+ retiring every year in Canada, but 30% of the ignorant population craps their pants when we try and bring labour into the country.
