The Japanese during WW2 they moved into Indochina, the Philippines and the Solomon Island chains, toward New Zealand and Australia. My father ffought in the Solomon Islands. Is China making the same move to isolate this part of the world???

@victorye7150 how much do you know about Asia? Their aims are the same. China is following the same plans as Japan did.

@pipiqiqi4010. is the same as the USA and some other countries, power, influence, and control of different countries around the world.

@karsan6018 Our problem is that all countries require cheaper trade with other countries to keep import prices down. As we did with Japan in the 1950's on after we just had a World War with them. I remember when we went from made in the USA items to made in Japann items. The average people back then called it Japanese junk, but yet we bought the items. Then in latter years we bought items made in Taiwan which were part of China and China itself.

@pipiqiqi4010 I am 77 and have studied history. The Chinese are following the same path as did the Japanese did during WW2, even though they aren't using fighting as of yet. You offer your proof instead of contempt. It is foolish to say that I have to offer you proof made on a startment.
