  7. When I was in school in the early 1950's the schools sold us saving stamps for 10 cents to be glued in a leaflet. When filled you could turn it in for a Savings Bond to be redeemed years later. I still have an unfilled leaflet somewhere. No telling how many were left unfilled?? So the government kept this extra money.

  23. I like silver because it is under valued and less government controlled than gold. Gold I believe that gold is beyond most people's ability to hold. Silver is easier to barter and a necessary metal in future economy. But silver is harder to store. I don't think that people will go wrong in their holding metals, to each their own. Any hard asset that can be used,, sold or bartered is a plus.. Long live the average people..

I am heavily into silver for I believe that it will have its day in the sun soon. Gold is the power play of the world where governments are buying in their hopes that they can control their people with gold. What bothers me is that with the dollar being devalued that makes the inflation higher and with many countries going to BRICS using real assets as trade the USD will cause more of the dollar to come back home.

  47.  @SeanFooGold  yes considering that I grew up dirt poor share cropper or slave, no electricity, inside plumbing, no window screens, holes in the shacks floor, no car, little or no money and foods from the garden. Sometimes ate raw potatoes, radishes, onions or or root crops during the day if hungry. Was a way of life back then for poor people..Strive and survive my friends.....

  54.  @SeanFooGold  wind turbines blades wear and are very expensive, solar panels are expensive and can't be used in some areas because of the lack of the sun, geothermal has not been mentioned in years wave action panels have not been mentioned in years. Nuclear power is a potential danger because hot rods have to be stored safely for thousands of years. The wind turbines kill many birds and changes the micro environment of the earth's floor. There are pros and cons to everything..

  70. Some countries don't want to drill in their country, but then they expect other countries to supply them with their needs. As for as travel, in the USA in the 1970s, we had to carpool people ride in a vehicle to keep unnecessary extra cars off of the rode and towns had busses to save on travel. I don't like wind .ills because they destroy or change the land micro- climate for ground creatures and kill birds plus they create wind turbulence changing air flow..

  73.  @Playa566  I am a Vietnam War Veteran 1966-67 who has eaten snakes, some bugs, worms, etc.. I did recon and sniper work so this helps. I have a tactical bunker, but I have farmland and garden. I store food also.
