  1. It's probably a feeble attempt to make it look like there was more support for his viewpoint. DDV would then point to the "anonymous" website and say "see, I'm not the only one thinking this".

  2. Well, in and of itself, a Rust-based Linux kernel could be useful for educational purposes; it might find flaws & shortcomings in both, and give insight on them. But making a Rust/Linux kernel out of spite is just stupid.
