  1. She moved to California because her side of her family lived there, one of her relatives was a lieutenant Governor of California. She was a numerologist and interested in Masonic ideals but not into contacting spirits like the later owners of the house did to create interest in tourist attraction. The hired live in help said they never saw anything like this going on. Her family in California were very well known upstanding people and these story's about her are nothing but lies . Her niece inherited all the interior furniture that was in the house and it was removed before the house was sold.

  2. She had bay area family, cousins etc. One in her day was Lt Gov of California, she left all her home furniture to her niece or cousin. This family of hers was why she moved West to the bay area.. I believe they lived in Oakland and Berkeley
