  6. But it won't just be the poor who suffer this winter re energy rises. I am middle class and I am really worried at the projected price hikes which are all the more immoral when energy companies are raking in billions in profits for their shareholders. Energy companies need to be renationalised asap. In fact any political party which pledges to do this will be on a winning ticket come the next G. Election.

  11. Agree. But a Tory govt won't do this. Or a Labour one for that matter. Too many MPs' snouts in the trough plus greedy political donors, MPs' mates requiring favours, - in short too corrupt to serve the people which is govt's primary role in a democracy. I am really sad at what the UK has become.
