I think the TSA is at least partially at fault. They had nowhere for someone to sit and remove their shoes and her cane was already passed through security. In addition to being a senior citizen, she also has Parkinsons disease. Even worse, she was out cold for 11 minutes before receiving medical aid. The photo of the injury, bad enough to have to blur our, pretty much eliminates this as being some kind of scam lawsuit.

@sdflyr If you are 75 or older you don't have to remove your shoes regardless of what line you are in.

@robertspencer6085 Okay, first off, others have said she was in a TSA pre-check line. Which means you normally don't have to take off your shoes. Which is why she didn't have shoes that you could easily "slip off". Second, are you really comparing yourself and your levels of balance to that of a 68 year old woman with Parkinsons? If any of the TSA mouth-breathers had any class they would have offered an old disabled woman a chair. Instead they put her on the spot and made her take off her boots while holding up the line.
