  1. I bought a rechargeable grass trimmer one summer and left it in our garage over winter. I assume lithium batteries do not do very well in -40, because next summer it didn’t work. So I used my old electric grass trimmer that I’ve owned for 20 years and never went lithium again. To replace the battery, it costs more than my electric grass trimmer…..that I’ve owned for 20 years. How is this green?

  6. Toyota is putting out a hydrogen truck. Apparently Japan is really going hydrogen. They just have to figure out how to make it less like a moving hydrogen bomb.

  8.  @cherylvl1036  you probably heard about all the water mains breaking in Prince Rupert due to unusual cold temperatures. I guess Dave from Adapt 2030 is right, we are going into another grand solar minimum. Another province east of Alberta had to pass legislation to build their homes deeper because the frost line was lower.
