Part of the problem is that British society is so deeply and fundamentally fractured in so many ways that no politician of any kind is ever going to get a "majority consensus" on any issue ever again. The next decade is going to bring a rapid succession of utterly useless PMs who last a few months before getting hounded out of office by the forces of the MSM, Twitter Cancellers, various "Woke" lobbyists and Chinese-backed multinational big business. Then we'll probably just collapse as a nation. Let's face it, we're 90% of the way there now. We're just going through the "denial" phase...
