@alfsmith4936 The French helped building but never taught us. A Catholic church only looks one way. It's in one style. The style of a Roman council office hence why all Catholic churches look the the same. Nothing to do with France. Same as Concrete. A Roman invention, nothing to do with France. All invaders leave their mark as we did when we invaded France. But to say they invented egg and bacon and built all our cathedrals is utter tosh dear boy.... Take Waltham Abbey, built in 989AD nothing to do with France. I'm a specialist decorator for the National Heritage and I know a little about historical buildings as I'm in alot of them daily.
