  2.  @RoniForeva  Apparently Fauci wasn't even into the travel ban on Chinese nationals into the US on January 31st. The WHO advised against travel restrictions effectively citing xenophobia. By restricting travel, that signalled something was up. Yes, Trump was overly optimistic at times during the pandemic, but who is really going to take the optimism at literal face value? Trump is not in charge of what the states do in regards to social distancing policies etc. People were already social distancing by staying away from Chinatown (includes the Chinese community). Trump hired Bolton. I was pissed when that happened. One of the worst things he has done. I am also not a fan of fast tracking vaccine production (although ultimately, this is in the hands of the manufacturers!!).

  3. Considering the state governors are responsible for much of distancing policies etc.....what actual effect would Trump's positiveness pose? Were Democrat voters suddenly changing their attitude or actions? Were Republican voters changing their actions? The travel bans did set the tone at the end of January. Corona virus news was running every day.
