  1. I have made and programmed battery systems. I don’t think anyone could get a normal comercial battery’s to fail at the same exact time. If the pagers randomly went off over the course of hours then maybe. However that video from the supermarket didnt look like a battery failure. Battery failures usually look more like a flare. Also battery failures involve lots of smoke.
