  1. This is Trumps fault. However Part of the problem is that the security apparatus for the capitol is extremely bureaucratic and everything requires multiple levels of sign offs by multiple bureaucrats. It does seem to need streamlining. Trumps started a riot on purpose and it showed that security needs greater flexibility and support.
