  1. Yep, and in 1930's there were a lot of paramilitary and "sports" organisations, who would have taken what is essentially a carbine, but is written off on paper as just a pistol, with open arms... given the price.

  2. Combine it, .45 round, "artillery" version barrel and make it actually for Walther instead of semiobsolete by that point Luger and you have something that you can actually sell. A fully functional semiauto carbine that is just a pistol on paper. During 1930's there were a lot of paramilitary organisations in Europe and the world, who might have been interested in that... given a sane price range.
