  1. That seems like a horrible thing - in all perspectives. No disrespect tot he solders who risced ther lives, btw. But the command, the goverment and the overall planning was ... i don't even know what this was. It reminds my on: "If you neither don't know yourselve and your enemy, you will succomb in every battle" -Suntzi If these insurgents would had seen the basic urban fighting training video of the Wehrmacht of 1930, the casultys would have explodet - and that's nothing anyone can be proud of. A military of such money and technology (...) shouldn't get stuck in this situation. If - it is a red flag to quit all military or involving operations on foreign teritory and ask some very importnat question about the own ability to make decisions, execute them, and take responsibility for. The islamic radicals are now more powerfull thn ever before thanx of the involvement of the US military. This makes it a direct terrorist supporter. If next time the question is asked, how to prevent terrorism - cut down US military funding and put it directly into education and healthcare. I know i should write this here because of controverse and hurt egos, but it striked me so painfull to see the mountain of completley avoidable suffering.
