  1. The war in Gaza has been a catastrophic strategic disaster for Israel. Do they want to antagonise Iran into a similar strategic trap and risk a world war? Or is this a ploy by the radical Israel government to prolong or expand the war so they remain in power? Attacking an embassy is unheard of and is a serious escalation.
