Bottom line, it's Private Property -- that owner has the right to keep her off the premises, if she's not on a lease. Basic civics need to be (re-)taught in public schools, I swear. Your feelings and undisciplined emotions do not matter. Seems to me she also didn't get sufficient discipline overall when growing up: 'great' job, parent(s). Being told "No" is still tough for this woman-child.

@Tenso-lh3tm The OP didn't express any desire that "everyone else be single", those are your words in their mouth. They just noted that being single isn't that bad.

@cc-terfay LoL. I still think you'd have a 'leg up' on someone from a non-related field; after the LEO training you'd probably be better than the average candidate.
