  3. I'd say it doesn't matter. Divorce cases can always get ugly even when there's not much money to fight over. E.g. a couple of years ago, I was involved in a bad divorce case where the people had only been married about 2 years. One spouse was super-mad due to an affair so that dragged out for almost a year.
