Why don't these Americans move to China? Statistics told us that after the pandemic, many Americans have left China (including Hong Kong). The opportunities are definitely there.

@CyrusJanssen The visa restriction policy was based on national security, but it hamper China's integration to the international communities. This is especially important during a slowdown period of the Chinese economy, and foreign investments will be helpful. Earlier this year, the Chinese government removed the visa restrictions for travellers from various countries (France, Germany, United States etc.), resulting on a boost of the travel numbers. Similarly, they really should loosen up the restrictions on relocation as well. As for the mindset of the Americans, it's so hard to change 😪......

@CyrusJanssen Hong Kong had developed policies last year to lure overseas talents and professionals to move to the city (after the mass exodus in 2020 to 2023). Should mainland China do the same?
