  1. Cyrus, as you said, Chinese people love Anerican people, but they have issues with the American government. Similarly, many populations (including Canadian) love Chinese people, they just have issues with the Chinese government. As a Chinese living in Canada for more than 3 decades, the Canadian people have been treating us with fairness and respect.

  2.  Plain Truth  I respect your opinion. But many of my western colleagues or friends have not problem dealing with Chinese, despite the differences in cultures. Nobody like to be associated with a totalitarian regime which suppresses universal human rights.
