  1. India and China need to fix their border conflict as soon as possible. Compare with the complicated China/Taiwan conflict, it is much more manageable. The reward of peace will be more substantial as you're talking about the 2 most populated countries of the world with nuclear arsenals.

  2. I don't always agree with Cyrus, but I agree with his analysis with India. India is always acting in its self-interest. That's why India maintains a relationship with Russia, with China, and with the USA (of course). Prime Minister Modi is not shy to take advantage of every single of these relationships. Is it the reason why Xi refused to go to India for the G20? Who knows.

  3. @Shenzhou.  China has more influence towards Russia. China has already declared that their friendship with Russia has no limits. China is also much stronger economically. Putin certainly listens much more towards Xi than Modi. That's why China is in a much stronger position to mediate the peace than India.

  4. @Shenzhou.  I never said China should stop the relationship with Russia. You mixed me up with someone else. China won't terminate its relationship with Russia, and that's a fact.

  5. @Shenzhou.  I never called for China to stop doing business with Russia. China can use its business pressure to facilitate the peace process. China has done it before with Australia. A wide range of Australian products were sanctioned, including barley, beef, coal, lobsters, timber and wine.

  8. @Shenzhou.  That's not true. There are already several rounds of peace talks that have taken place between Russia and Ukraine since the invasion. In addition, Ukraine and Russia have already negotiated and signed agreements regarding Ukrainian grain exports. These were done under the backdrops of Turkey and the United Nations. Did the United States or any nations stop any of the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine? No.

  13. @Shenzhou.  General Mark Milley, the Joint Chiefs Chair of the United States, has indicated that Ukraine should start peace negotiations with Russia, and victory may not be achieved militarily.
