Actually China massively surprised the USA in Korea, because they managed to sneak in their quite massive army under the US controlled sky (from which they carpet bombed North Korean cities with 100.000s of bombs and 30.000 tons of Napalm). But the Korea War is something the west in general does not want to talk about, especially not about the fascistic south and the brutal genocide by NATO to 'defend' it.
