  1. What is by the way stupid. You may have important positions worth to hold, but in general falling back is always the best decision. That's how you build up your lines in the first place, that your front line CAN fall back, while the lines behind those hammer the attacker. This by the way does not mean, that it must happen at the same time. Warfare is deception. You don't just have one easy tactic and follow it, you mixture it, let the enemy come on purpose for example, make them feel save and victorious, so they get cocky and bring in more, then you destroy all of it in one big attack - just as one example.

  3. All I see is, that Ukraine is barely strong enough to fight some scout units. If someone thinsk the warfare here is on this level, that they fight a bunch of Russian soldiers in a simple dug out... well...

  5. Russia's army is eat of Bakhmut. You can't make Bakhmut a cauldron or pincer, since they simypl aren't there (not talking about some scout level forces or whatever, but the main forces).
