  1. fozzy0266 You could just as easily argue that the South Ossetians started it, and that Georgia was provoked to respond to their aggression. Russia invaded Georgia merely a day later after Georgia responded, which is interesting, since military invasions are something that normally take weeks to organize. You would almost think the Russians had been waiting for the opportunity.
