@paulmorgan121 Hamas was voted into power and backed by George Bush in ~2005. They won with less than 50% of the vote. (They were also later supported by Netanyahu). Since then they have been a dictatorship. So while Hamas may be made up of Palestinians not all Palestinians are Hamas.
