  2. Look at the statistically relevant data sources. Toyota's long-term reliability ratings are much better than Honda. Honda's long-term reliability has really slipped in the past 6 years.

  4. Tell them to read the maintenance guide carefully. It says oil and filter changes every 5K miles/6 months if driven under special operating conditions. How do they know how you use the car?
