I agree completely. I was a young man in the seventies and Carter, and he was a great guy and he tried, but he just didn't have it in him, to accomplish what had to be done. Now, they gloat over what they're doing or just lie around it. They're intentionally driving up gas prices, spurred on by the Green ideology. Same as with inflation, the supply chain, threat of food shortages, their obsession with far left progressive insanity. They want power for themselves and the bureaucracy that they've set up in Washington.

You're not going to agree with anyone 100% of the time. You have to make trade-offs. It's the reality of life. Better Noem than someone who you agree with on abortion but is destroying the state.....like Gavin Newsom in California. He supports abortion but he's a train wreck as a governor.

Maybe you should turn the picture off and just listen to them talk. It's the substance of conversation that's important, not the style. I thought Noem has some great things to say and I was quite impressed.

@wildness01 It's also extremely costly. It might mean travelling 2000 miles for a 2 hour interview. It's also time constraining to do all the travelling. It's nicer to have a face to face but if it's not possible, it's nice to have the option. Besides, remote interviews have been going on for a long time, ever since satellite technology made it possible. Covid may have increased it but it's nothing new.

I don't fully know what you're talking about but she signed a bill on Feb. 3/22, banning transgender males in women's sports. I, most definitely, agree with her on that.

She's hit the nail on the nose. They do hate America. You should hear Kamala's 4th of July speech. It was laced with hatred for her own country. The vice-president had nothing good to say about the United States. Why would ANYONE vote for an administration like that?

It depends on why he's doing it. If it's about an inflation hedge okay. He'll still work the land so it's profitable and we all benefit. If he's doing it for ideological reasons, which is what I believe, then he's doing it to stroke his ego. As a very prominent member of the World Economic Forum, he's not becoming a farmer to produce food. He's doing to control how food is produced and that is scary.
