@sorceress1986 Walt Disney, the founder of Disney. He died in 1966, therefore he's dead. Now, the corporation, that he left, is also dead. Now, to Mariah Pacheco, the Disney Corporation is just as dead as Walt is actually dead. Does it make more sense, now?

@JohnCarterRocks Moving from Florida should fix the corporate losses that they've been experiencing over the last few years. LOL. Their problems run deeper than DeSantis. A move isn't going to put people in theatre seats to see their movies. Instead of moving out of Florida, they'd be better off returning to what made them so successful in the first place. Make good movies that don't emphasise woke evangelical themes. Just make good stories that people would take their kids to see. They'll keep losing at the box office no matter where Disney World goes. They have to change their attitude.

@gissneric People don't always get what they want. If you over ride your principles to satisfy a child's wants on his birthday, your living under the tyranny of 6 year old. Only the weakest of human beings would allow that to happen.

@gissneric Are you going to grill me on every issue, now? This "what if" nonsense is getting old fast. What do you want me to say? That I'd build a stockade around my home and have an armed standoff with anyone coming for my stove? I'm against any such legislation and will say so with my vote. What this has to do with Disney confounds me, though. Let's stick to the topic.

Maybe Mickey is pregnant.

@L0kias1 Maybe. How would I know? All I did was show facts. They could turn it around. It happens to companies all the time. However, they'll never do it by not acknowledging that they've run into problems. Sticking their heads in the sand won't solve the problems that I showed. Nothing is a for sure, but you can't deny, and you haven't, that they've lost money over the last couple of years. Losing 2 million home subscribers, during a time when people were lock downed in their homes, is NOT a good look. I don't care who you are.

@gissneric I'll repeat myself "People don't always get what they want". I don't know how I could be more straight up than that. If you're insinuating that DeSantis would want to bring back Jim Crow, he's a Republican. Jim Crow is a Democrat creation. It's the left that's obsessed with race. It's the result of the post-modernist idea that socialism can't be brought to fruition, in America, through class struggle, as Marx had suggested. It would have to be done through a racial lens and it for it to work, racial strife must be nurtured to the point of anger and resentment. It was Democrats, in California, that wanted to rescind the state Civil Rights Act in the last election. Fortunately, California voters rejected that bill.
