What a bunch of doom and gloomers. How do even get out of bed in the mornings? I'm going to assume that you're Americans. You're living in one of the greatest times in history and all you can do is whine. My parents lived through the great Depression and then seen their country over run by Hitlers Blitzkrieg. People died by the millions. Before that a flu epidemic that killed millions in less than a year and another huge war. Through every century of our past, it's been war and famine, disease and being forced to live in hovels by aristocratic lords. You guys don't know what hardship is. You're just self proclaimed victims of your own insipid imagination.

Jorge Zorros Xamaica We're all so grateful that we have people like you who are willing to make those profound insights that usually get past the rest of us lowly primates. So in depth, so concise. I'll bet you even graduated high school. I wish you had a YouTube channel. That would be the boss.

occupynewparadigm He's only mediocrity to those who want to impose their ideas on others, who love confrontation and anger and look for retribution on those who dare oppose them. To those who only want to hear conflicting ideas so they can identify the enemy and dispose of them. He invites free discussion without judgement or the aura of superiority. You want to know how a guest really feels, watch the Rubin Report. If you want to watch that guest be interrupted, yelled at and ridiculed, there are plenty of other forums that will do that for you. I want to hear what the guest has to say so I can formulate my own opinions on a lucid and honest presentation of ideas, not a screaming match.

Namesi That's because I don't know what hardship is. I know people that lived near my mother starved to DEATH in the war. I know my grandfather, my dad and uncles had to bury food so the Nazis wouldn't take it. I know my uncle spent the war in a concentration camp for being in the Dutch underground. I know that my grandfather lost 7 children to child hood diseases that have never affected the families I grew up with over the last 65 years. That's hardship. I had to do farm chores morning and evening growing up and thought it was hardship at the time, but that was self pity and had nothing to do with reality. I've suffered a deep personal tragedy but that's life and really not the fault of any political system or oppression. I've always had food, a place to live, never had to face the nagging fears that plagued people in the past from disease, war or crop failures. I KNOW I've had it relatively good. Not perfect. What is? There are places in the world that are suffering acute hardships but America or any of the western nations are NOT one of them. Any hardship suffered there is not because they're living in the US. If one has a sound mind and body in the US or hasn't face personal tragedy, there is no reason to claim hardship. It's only the result of an imagination given to self pity.
