@samwalsh4357 He was also against the Marxist views of Lenin and Stalin. He was a Democratic Socialist. I don't like them either but he hadn't had the chance to see how dangerous that ideology could be. Democratic Socialism is destroying the west. As Benjamin Franklin once said. "When people realise that people can vote themselves money, that will be the end of the Republic". I paraphrased that.
