I heard him explain it. He said that the reason why people hate the Jews is because those people hate God, or the concept of God which breaks down as the concept of truth. To them, there is no truth. Truth is subjective and depends on your point of view and your "lived" experience. That's why they have the concept of "my truth" and "your truth". When you believe that truth is subjective, anything that I say is subject to the "my truth" viewpoint. There's no such thing as right or wrong. It's all truth as one sees it. This means that the embodiment of truth, the concept of God, can't be true either. This is why a Palestinian can go to music festival and start killing innocent and unarmed young people. Why they can go door to door intentionally killing civilians, even children. They're reacting to their own truth of oppression and the "truth" of oppression becomes the most noblest of causes. It doesn't matter if it's God or Jesus, which is the anthropomorphization of God. God as the human form of truth. Your inability to understand his explanation is due to your lack of understanding of what the concept of God actually means. You're reducing this concept to the "bearded man in the sky" trope which is as childish as believing that there is a bearded man in the sky. Dig a little deeper into the human psyche and you'd understand it better.

@sivannatalie I would agree. Sowell makes an excellent case on this matter.

@windradyne8724 I'm only explaining the concept behind those ideas. I can explain Islam as well and the flat earth theory or any other concept. Doesn't mean that I believe it. As for calling it sophistry, that's a simple way of dismissing what I said. Instead of a sneering dismissal, why don't you try to discuss those ideas to see where it takes us? That would be a LOT more helpful than ridicule and the application of racial tropes. As for the anthropomorphism of animals, objects or ideas go, this is a well known trait of humanity. It's happened for thousands of years. It's a known fact and your casual dismissal doesn't change that.

@windradyne8724 Sophistry is used as a negative. It's akin to the phrase "word salad". Silly and meaningless. Here's the definition from the online dictionary. "the use of fallacious arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving." That's why I said that your comment was a sneering dismissal. You didn't discuss the idea, you dismissed it and strongly implied that this was intended to deceive, a back handed way of calling him a liar. He may be mistaken but a mistaken idea is NOT a lie. It's a mistake. So yes, your use of the word "sophistry" is rather insulting and dismissive, unless you didn't know what the word meant. Then you'd have been mistaken. If that's true, your position is rather tenuous at best.
