  2. Here's another part of the story you forgot to ad. When USA needed allies they went to the Northern Alliance and gave them exemption from the drug war. Karzai's kid brother was and is heavily in the opium business. U.S. troops were PROTECTING those fields while going after then measly ten per cent produced by Taliban.
