Comments by "" (@death_parade) on "British Army puts NEW Apache E model through its paces" video.
@importantjohn "Third/Fourth most powerful Army in the world"? Don't make me laugh. How many divisions can the British Army field? 1 or 2? The current third/fourth most powerful (Indian Army) can field more than 45 Divisions. And before you go all "muh superior British equipment", I'd say India actually has the lead there in some areas like howitzers, air defence, electronic warfare, etc. UK does have better armour, but not nearly enough to supplant a 20:1 advantage in numbers.

50, not 100.

Funny how you lament that. Meanwhile the airframes of these Apache were built in India, like all Apache built since June 2018.

@AndrewStead-wv4po Indeed. I agree. But I wrote what I wrote for a reason. I wouldn't be comparing the two if one of your countrymen hadn't tried to insinuate that the British Army is stronger than the Indian Army.

@ynwa3476 I did not start the comparison, the dude I am responding to said "we are the third/fourth most powerful Army in the world DESPITE BEING SUCH A SMALL POPULATION" ^His words, not mine.

@willw8011 Attack helicopters are multirole. A2G and A2A as well. I'd imagine Attack Helicopters to be stellar at combating drones though.

@elijahmckenzie9207 Only Brits can have such an insufferably high sense of superiority that they claim they have the better tank even though their tank does not have a blow off panels. That too claim it against a tank like the Abrams, that has blow off panels not only in the turret, but also in the hull.

@elijahmckenzie9207 As if no Chally 2 crew have lost their legs to RPG-29 hitting the front lower glacis in Iraq. Just because Brits have a smol Army and Chally 2 has seldom been in a war leading statistically to a lower chance of combat losses, it leads to Brits having this aura of invincibility built around misinterpretation of data. How about you apply Bayes properly? Oh, wait. I forgot. Brits are not capable of objectivity.
