@kolsen6330 On the evening of June 30, Beijing Tianbin Technology Co., Ltd. issued a statement saying that at 3:43 p.m. that day, the Tianlong-3 liquid carrier rocket independently developed by Tianbing Technology carried out a hot test of the first-stage nine-machine parallel power system at the Comprehensive Test Center in Gongyi City, Henan Province.
During the test, due to structural failure at the connection between the rocket body and the test bench, the first-stage rocket detached from the launch pad. After liftoff, the onboard computer was automatically shut down, and the rocket fell into the deep mountains 1.5 kilometers southwest of the test bench. The rocket body fell into the mountains and disintegrated. The test site is far away from the urban area of Gongyi. Before the test, we worked with the local government to improve safety measures and organize the evacuation of surrounding personnel in advance. After investigation, no casualties were found.
