  6. @Gunter von Esling Lt. Gen. Karl Müllner, former Luftwaffe chief, is owed an apology for being fired over his public support for the F-35 now that Germany is buying 35 of them. Btw, Germany's F-35s will automatically network with Finland's 64 F-35s, Canada's 88, Norway's 52, Poland's 32 etc. Glad Lt. Gen. Karl Müllner is vindicated.

  20.  @sherrysnyder4195  Well, Putin's third invasion now (Georgia, Chechnya and now Ukraine) has alerted everyone in Europe, US and even Japan that Putin isn't stopping anytime soon. That is why Sweden and Finland have now applied for NATO membership together. All the more remarkable for Sweden especially since Sweden is tossing aside 200 years of neutrality. That should tell everyone how seriously Putin's now third invasion is being taken.

  24.  @sherrysnyder4195  The former Soviet Block and Warsaw Pact members who joined NATO did so out of fear of Russia even though the Soviet Union was dead. After decades of experience being bullied by the Soviet Union they wanted to take no chances that Russia, sooner or later, would revert back to the Stalinist ways and bully them again. Not sure how you get the idea that just because Stalin is dead, that Russia can't ever go back to the Stalinist ways.

  25.  @sherrysnyder4195  Stalin forcibly deported part of the Baltic and Polish population to Siberia. Many of them were women and kids. Not surprisingly, the Baltics and Poland lobbied hard to get into NATO and are doing all they can to send weapons to Ukraine and oppose Putin. They have lived Russian invasion, forced deportations and oppression. They know a lot more than you do.
