I love the mini-NATO security arrangement idea. Nothing less than that will keep the Russians out of Ukraine.

@avafury4584 Zelensky specifically mentioned the worthlessness of the security arrangement that the Budapest Memorandum was supposed to provide. He listed several countries that were already NATO members he wanted to become "guarantors" of Ukraine's security. Hence, the functional equivalent of a mini-NATO.

@Hahahahahahahhahaha123 Learn what Zelensky said about how useless the Budapest Memorandum's so-called security guarantees were and what he is now asking for in the form of multiple NATO members to actually provide Ukraine real security to keep the Russians out.

@avafury4584 It won't fly but the only other choice is capitulation or fighting on to try to maintain independence. We know from the Budapest Memorandum experience that Russian signatures are meaningless as Zelensky reminded us. Anything less than what Zelensky is proposing with the functional equivalent of his mini-NATO idea means that Ukraine is perpetually surrounded on at least three sides (north-Belarus puppet state, east-Donbas, south-Crimea.). And without any kind of SERIOUS counter such as a number of heavyweight NATO members "guaranteeing" Ukraine's security then Ukraine will eventually fall into Russian puppet-state status. Knowing Russia won't keep any agreement it signs, Ukraine must battle on.
