Igor told us 4 Bradleys were "destroyed" by Russian forces. Amazing since none had been delivered

@garretttobin7451 Igor said 4 Bradley's were destroyed on camera a few days ago. I watched him say it. Try to keep up.

Soviet Union needed $220 billion (adjusted dollars) in American war aid to fight off Hitler.

@chasx7062 Nearly 400,000 American trucks used by the Red Army for logistics and to pull artillery was just a small part of what America sent.
1
@Chas X As Gen. Patton rightly said, We fought the wrong enemy. Stalin was no better than Hitler.
1
@Rasheed H Hardly. America had destroyed the German navy including its U Boats by mid 1944. Meaning America could send unlimited war supplies across the Atlantic to destroy Germany. And with Japan's surrender, the US army and marines fighting Japan would have been ordered to join the attack against Germany. Not to mention America had the world's biggest navy and strategic bomber force. And was turning out endless fighters and carrier-based aircraft Keep fantasizing.

@Chas X Putin is copying the Nazi tactic of bombing civilian infrastructure that the Nazis used over Britain in the winter of 1940. It just made Britain more determined to fight Hitler. No coincidence that Putin is copying this Nazi tactic.

@saucy innit Not according to Gen. Zhukov. Both Zhukov and Khruschev admitted that the Red Army would have lost without $220 billion (adjusted dollars) in war aid. And btw, the source for that is Russian.

@Rasheed H Reality is what Gen. Zhukov said about what $220 billion (adjusted) in American war aid meant to the Red Army. "Now they say that the allies never helped us, but it can't be denied that the Americans gave us so many goods without which we wouldn't have been able to form our reserves and continue the war." --Gen. Zhukov Gen. Zhukov plainly says that without American war aid the Red Army could not have formed reserves and continued the war. No amount of Russian propaganda you believe in can negate Gen. Zhukov's plain admission. And that quote is sourced from Moscow.

@Rasheed H Let's read another statement from Gen. Zhukov about what American war aid meant to the Red Army: "We didn’t have explosives, gunpowder. We didn’t have anything to charge our rifle cartridges with. The Americans really saved us with their gunpowder and explosives. And how much sheet steel they gave us! How could we have produced our tanks without American steel? But now they make it seem as if we had an abundance of all that. Without American trucks we wouldn’t have had anything to pull our artillery with." --Gen. Zhukov Notice that Gen. Zhukov says the "The Americans really saved us with their gunpowder and explosives." Unlike you, Gen. Zhukov was honest enough to give Americans full credit for saving the Red Army. If Gen. Patton had his way, America wouldn't have given anything to the Red Army. And Gen. Patton was right.

@Rasheed H Nobody denies the Red Army's sacrifice. Gen. Patton's point is that from an American point of view, it didn't matter if the Germans overran and destroyed the Red Army and thus captured the Soviet Union or if the Red Army prevailed. Soviet communists were no better than German Nazis. It was therefore a massive waste to send $220 billion in American war aid to the Red Army. $220 billion that would have been far better spent on American ships, aircraft and armour that Patton wanted to ultimately use to destroy either the Red Army or the German army. As to Afghanistan, even you should understand that a country FULLY mobilized for a war of survival fights differently than wars of choice. The Red Army lost in Afghanistan in large part because Afghanistan was a war of choice and therefore the Soviet Union never fully mobilized. Use your brain please.

@saucy innit Gen. Zhukov admitted that that is the case. He plainly said that without $220 billion (adjusted) in American war aid the Red Army could not have formed reserves and continued the war. Here is the quote again: "Now they say that the allies never helped us, but it can't be denied that the Americans gave us so many goods without which we wouldn't have been able to form our reserves and continue the war." --Gen. Zhukov

@Rasheed H Patton's opinion was his own and it was obviously right. Stalin was no better than Hitler and arguably worse. US gained no advantage with having Soviet communists in charge of Russia vs. Hitler conquering Russia. You seem to think you are making some kind of genius point that America had its own defense in mind. So? Is that unique among nations to have their own self interest in mind? Think Stalin didn't have his own dictatorial power in mind at all times? In the end, the US ended up NOT defending itself with its massive aid to Moscow because Stalin and the communists were just as big an enemy as Hitler was. US should have let the German army conquer the Soviet Union and saved itself $220 billion that it ended up wasting trying to aid Stalin. And that was Patton's obviously correct take.
